Dear Festividder:

Thank you so much for taking on one of my prompts! As you can probably tell by my requests, I'm a big fan of goofy, happy vids from goofy, happy fandoms.

I'm cool with all kinds of music styles (though I admit to favoriting upbeat and/or fast-paced music). A few favorites music artists of mine: any pop from the 1980s (Erasure and Depeche Mode in particular), Madonna, She Wants Revenge, Cake, Beck, Tori Amos, Muse, Goldfrapp, Nine Inch Nails, Postal Service, Fischerspooner, VAST, The Faint, Metric, and Zero 7. Just some ideas--seriously, go with whatever moves you.

And for tone, though I love goofy/happy, I'm happy with any kind of theme or pairing or mood that strikes you. I'm a slasher, so I definitely won't complain if that's where your muse takes you. I really can't think of anything you can do with any of these sources that I would totally hate, so go nuts!

Use/don't use my ideas, as you like. If you have fun making it, I'm totally sure that I will love it. Thank you for tackling any of these crazy mini-fandoms :)

Willow: I have loved this movie for soooooo long. It's got great world-building, good physical humor and fun characters. I'm sure plenty of the special effects seem cheesy now, but I still love it to itty bitty pieces. I would really enjoy something that showcases both the humor and the fantasy-prettiness of this movie.  I would love for it to be Mad Martigan-centric!

How to Steal a Million: While there are plenty of funny b-characters in this film, I mainly just adore Peter O'Toole and Audrey Hepburn to death. I would prefer a focus on the physical humor of the heist and romance.  Bonus points for displaying Peter O'Toole's gorgeous eyes to maximum advantage!

Court Jester: Another one with lots of crazy costumes, singing/dancing and physical humor. I really can't see any angst coming out of this source footage, so I'd love something goofy/fun from this film.

Cry-Baby: I'd be happy with either shippy or gen, as long as there is a lot of Depp eye candy. It could be squares vs drapes, it could be a slash/het Depp pairing, it could be a gen sing-and-dance-athon. Whatever you want, as long as it is completely over the top because this movie is craaaaaazy.

Flight of the Conchords: I would prefer not to have the video use their own music. And I'd love for it to focus on the humor and friendship between Bret and Jemaine (I admit to having a stronger crush on Jemaine, if you're going to favor one or the other...). I'd be happy with either gen or slash.

Neverending Story: Another long time favorite of mine. I'd love anything full of fun, fantasy shiny-ness please :)

Labyrinth: I've seen several slower, serious vids for this movie, so I'd really prefer to have something new, different, faster-paced or funnier. Can be shippy or gen.  Either Jareth-POV or Sarah-POV would work for me.

Hackers: This film just seems to scream for something dance-able of the electronica/techno persuasion. And if possible, I would prefer a gen/tech-centric focus, rather than romantic one.
